Hello,
I purchased a Lumia 900 last Spring, and synced with Outlook 2007. At that time I was running Windows 7. I recently upgraded to Windows 8, and my contacts and tasks disappeared, though my calendar was still intact. My contacts still reside on WindowsLive (though I have not been able to find my tasks/reminders). However, when I save the contacts on WindowsLive, and try to import as into Outlook as a .csv (DOS) file, as per the instructions provided, I receive a "Translation Error" message stating that Outlook was unable to initialize a translator to build a field map (I would include a copy of the entire message if I could figure out how to do so in Windows 8).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John
