My office IMAP server fails the Test Account stage of setup and so I can't add it to Outlook 2013. I had to re-install 2010 and "upgrade" They really need to bring back the option to skip the test ASAP. You can skip the test on a POP3 account but not IMAP

Solve the problem in this way:
Download WinEnabler, run it and click on it's tray icon until the word "On" appears.
Configure a new account as pop3, uncheck the test thick and save the account.
Edit the account and change pop3 to imap. Remember to configure all settings you need.
Uncheck the test thick and save the account.
You'll get two email folders for the same account. Just delete the older one with a right click and remove folder.
    That's it.

Is there any way I can roll back to 2010?
    I have 2013 and 2007.
I have the same problems as Jimbo45 plus I can't open up my older email at all. Most of my contacts know my older account and email address.
I have 2013 set up to use a new email address and it works just fine, except from a hotel room.
My older email address can't be set up at all under 2013, but does work on an older computer using 2007. My iphone 6 also works with the older email address.
I have to have two PCs to handle the email. I was trying to consolidate to one.
