re email program like windows mail

hi looks like windows mail is going to be horrible and not install can anyone suggest a similar program and do not even bother with windows live mail its rubbish it must be able to import windows mail so any ideas let me know and yes i have followed directions to the letter no luck so i need something new any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
